# How to Make:

01 - Place the sliced strawberries, orange, lemon, lime, and fresh basil leaves in a large pitcher.
02 - Pour in the white grape juice and fresh lemon juice. Use a wooden spoon to gently muddle the fruit and basil, releasing their flavors.
03 - Add agave syrup or honey, if desired, and stir thoroughly until dissolved.
04 - Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour allowing the flavors to meld.
05 - Just before serving, add the chilled sparkling water and club soda to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
06 - Fill glasses with ice, pour the sangria mocktail, and garnish each glass with extra basil leaves and strawberry slices.

# Expert tips:

01 -
  • Mixing basil with strawberries is like unlocking a secret summery note that never gets old.
  • The flavors come alive after just a short chill, so you won’t be stuck waiting forever before you can pour a glass.
02 -
  • Don’t muddle basil too hard, or the drink can get slightly grassy—learned that after an overly enthusiastic stir session.
  • Chilling for at least an hour is essential—the flavors don’t fully blend if you rush it, and the basil stays dormant.
03 -
  • Chill all liquids and fruit before combining—that way, you avoid needing extra ice and keep the flavors concentrated.
  • Using a muddler with a flat end releases just enough basil oil without crushing the leaves too aggressively.
