# What You Need:

→ Butterfly Pea Flower Tea

01 - 2 cups 480 ml hot water
02 - 2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers

→ Lemonade Base

03 - 1/2 cup 120 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
04 - 1/4 to 1/3 cup 60–80 ml simple syrup to taste
05 - 2 cups 480 ml cold water
06 - Ice cubes as needed

# How to Make:

01 - Steep the butterfly pea flowers in the 2 cups of hot water for 5 minutes, until the water turns a deep blue. Strain out the flowers and let the tea cool to room temperature.
02 - In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, and cold water. Stir to mix well.
03 - Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour in the lemonade until each glass is about two-thirds full.
04 - Slowly pour the cooled butterfly pea flower tea over the lemonade in each glass. Watch as the color transforms from blue to vibrant purple or pink when it interacts with the lemon.
